Jessica M. DeMarois graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2011 with a JD and a graduate certificate in natural resources and environmental law, where she was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Leadership and numerous tax scholarships. She holds a B.A. in history, magna cum laude, from the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana. Ms. DeMarois also attended the University of Washington and graduated with an LLM in tax.
Jessica is admitted to practice in Washington and Montana. Prior to joining Goodrich & Reely in 2019, Jessica worked as Senior Tax Counsel at the Montana Department of Revenue in Helena. There her practice included individual income tax litigation, corporate and pass-through entity tax issues, centrally assessed property tax disputes, miscellaneous tax division issues and liquor law. Prior to returning to Montana, Jessica worked in Seattle as a King County prosecutor.
Jessica is a member of the University of Montana Davidson Honors College External Advisory Board. A fourth-generation Montanan, Jessica enjoys summer days at Flathead Lake, weekend mornings at the farmer’s market, and exploring the state with her family. She is delighted to be back in her hometown of Missoula.
